I love a good inspiration photo. Pinterest was my go-to source for a long time, but I’ve become increasingly frustrated with their site. Their “picked for you” posts clog up my whole feed and I see hardly any of the awesome images from the people I’ve chosen to follow. Is that driving anyone else completely nuts?
Enter Instagram. There is certainly no shortage of inspiration on Instagram and I get to see what I actually want to see – what a concept!
This is a list of my 10 favorite sources of inspiration on Instagram. Each of these feeds sparks my #rusticglam creativity, whether that’s through farmhouse-style decor, colorful flowers, brilliant photography, or all of the above!
So here you have it… 10 Instagram accounts to follow if rustic glam is your jam:
1. Janet / Shabbyfufu (@shabbyfufu)
Janet has great style and the best blog name ever. I love her light-filled, vintage-y spaces. So elegant, so (seemingly) effortless…
2. Lev Vackert AB / Ingela Broling (@lev_vackert)
This account is based in Sweden and I can’t understand a word that’s posted with any of the photos. I still don’t know if this is a store (I think it is), a designer, or just the luckiest person in the world living in the best house in the world.
3. Mark Mauldin Photography, Inc. (@mm_photo_inc)
This Atlanta-based photographer specializes in interior design and architectural shots. It is fascinating to get a behind-the-scenes look at how interior shots are staged, especially in a studio setting.
4. Erin Benzakein – Floret (@floretflower)
This farmer-florist posts the most gorgeous photos of flowers in fields, flowers in tablescapes, flowers in truck beds… Flowers, flowers everywhere!
5. J U L I E (@juliesheartandhome)
This interior decorator is all about farmhouse style, but with plenty of glamour mixed in. I wish I could go shopping in her house!
6. The White Sparrow (@thewhitesparrow)
This Texas event venue is simply stunning. The white barn, the flowers, the flood of sunlight through the space… Heavenly.
7. Rene / Painted Goodness (@paintedgoodness)
This talented DIY’er updates fabulous vintage finds and has a gorgeous home. She also posts adorable pics of her dog, which I always love.
8. Tanya Clark Home (@tanya.clark.home)
Tanya has country style with a sophisticated twist. I especially enjoy all of her seasonal decor.
9. Hochzeitsguide (@hochzeitsguide)
Wedding sites are a great source for rustic glam inspiration. Hochzeitsguide is one of the best, with tons of gorgeous natural settings and a bevy of elegant, soft hues. The photography featured in this feed is simply stunning.
10. Christmas Lover (@christmas__lover__)
All Christmas, all year round!
And of course, you can follow me on Instagram as well…. @angiebuildsahouse. I post design boards and photos of home decor, cross stitching, and two very lazy greyhounds.
